Review of the company organogram and facilitate the nomination, election and appointment of legal appointees in line with the OHS Act and Regulations. Drafting the required legal appointment letters and ensure each of the letters are signed by the appointees.

Legal Compliance Audit and Management Review​

Conducting an annual audit and draft a report highlighting overall compliance to the OHS Act and Regulations. Scheduling an annual review with management to discuss the highs, lows and areas for improvement of the management system.

Safety Training and Committees​

Identifying the required legislative training and coordinate the OHS committee meetings. Preparing OHS committee members and all key members of top management regarding the proper functioning of the committee.

Baseline Risk Assessment

Facilitating the development of a baseline risk assessment based on the scope of work supplied by the client. Developing safe work procedures based on the highest risks identified.

Site Emergency Plan ​

Drafting a premises emergency plan as per the drawings and information received from the client. Employees must be inducted on the emergency evacuation plan and evacuation drills held every six months.

Fire Fighting Equipment

Developing a fire equipment asset/inspection register and check that the locations of extinguishers and placement of signage is correct. Developing appointment letters for fire extinguisher inspector, emergency co-ordinator and fire team members.

First Aid System

Developing first aider appointment letter and first aid box content list. Developing injury issue register and first aid box inspection register. Assisting with placing boxes and signage in strategic locations across the organisation.

Hazardous Chemical Agents

Appointing a hazardous chemical agent co-ordinator and create an inventory and training register. Assisting in sourcing safety data sheets and conduct awareness sessions on HCAs.

Reporting recording and investigation of accidents and incidents

Drafting an appointment letter for the incident/accident investigator. Developing standard operating procedures for the reporting of incidents and accidents and advise the client on any IOD related queries.

AIA survey requirements

Advising the client on the AIA surveys that are applicable to their workplace and the frequency of those surveys. Co-ordinating surveys on behalf of the client.
